I don’t know if it’s the slightly warmer (although crazily inconsistent) weather, or if it’s just the more consistent schedule, but somehow I’ve been finding it much easier to get out of bed before the birds.
I mean, I thought I had a hard time adjusting to 4am starts… but the 3am weekday starts followed by losing another hour due to daylight savings, took considerably longer to adjust to. I realise most of this battle was probably mental, but nevertheless I knew it was worth it and perservered.
As for the rest of the day yesterday, it was a very busy one, working at both jobs, and then home to collapse into bed. Bliss.
