Day 82: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

I’m working all day today, so yesterday (Day 82) was the only day available to get all my “weekend stuff” done. All my errands, meal prep for the week, etc. all had to be done yesterday on top of a volunteer shift, and cramming as much of my daily goals in as possible.

It was busy, tiring, and satisfying!

I hope you’re making the most of your weekend!

Day 68: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

Day 68 was packed absolutely solid. I was at my volunteer job at 8am, then it was straight to my weekend job until 8pm. Of course this left little time for anything else so that meant getting everything else done when I got home, but i definitely went to bed satisfied!

I hope you’ve done all you can to achieve your goals today!

Day 62: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

Day 62 started by going in for an extra volunteer shift as they were understaffed for the morning. It’s such a rewarding job, that I don’t mind it losing my Sunday morning for it! And again this day ended uo with more paid work making it quite tight for time, but hey, I’d rather be busy moving forward than twiddling my thumbs!

I hope you’re on track to smash your goals today! (if not, it’s not too late to turn it around!).

Day 54: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

Day 54 was a volunteer day, followed by squeezing everything else in at the end of the day and A LOT of reading. Reading for long periods always takes me back to my childhood, curled up somewhere with a stack of books that whisked me away to other worlds, realities and possibilities.

Reading a lot when I was younger taught me to dream, and look at problems and concepts at many different angles. As I got older, I stopped reading altogether, replacing books with magazines, partying, and materialistic things. I am so glad that I found books again, fiction and non-fiction.

I hope you’re smashing your goals today!

Day 26: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

Yesterday morning I was rostered for a volunteer shift, only to find out on arrival that I wasn’t required… They thought I was going to be disappointed, but they were wrong! This meant that:

1. There weren’t as many animals in need of assistance, as there usually were (a win in itself), and

2. There was a whole 4 extra hours of my day that I hadn’t planned for, and to get extra things done with… Ohhhh yehhh…

My partner isn’t used to seeing that much of me at one time any more! It was a nice surprise 🙂

I hope you’re smashing your goals today!

Day 12: 90 Day Commitment Challenge with Danelle Delgado

I volunteer at a local animal shelter for a few hours every couple of weeks, and yesterday was that day for me. It may not directly translate to dollars in my bank account, but the value I take from it on a personal level, is immense, not to mention… the furry cuddles…

Not that it’s all cuddles and squealing about cute bunny rabbits (guilty). There is also an incredible amount of, well, poo.

Giving back to the world and creating positive change is a theme that threads through all of my goals, so it was good to dig in, followed by a very productive day at home, and work at night. A successful day if you ask me!

I hope you’re smashing your goals today!
